In the years since its publication in 1902, “As a Man Thinketh” has set thousands of men on the pathway to personal and financial growth. As Allen himself wrote, “As a Man Thinketh” ‘shall create positive results in daily circumstances and actions, regardless of the venue—an agreeable prospect, one must concede!’
About the Author
James Allen (1864-1912) was an Englishman who retired from the business world to pursue a lifestyle of writing and contemplation. His books are classics in the fields of inspiration and spirituality. Although best known for As a Man Thinketh, he authored several other books that deal with the power of thought including THE PATH OF PROSPERITY, EIGHT PILLARS OF PROSPERITY and James Allen’s BOOK OF MEDITATION FOR EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.
Allen’s books illustrate the use of the power of thought to increase personal capabilities. Although he never achieved great fame or wealth, his works continue to influence people around the world, including the New Thought movement.

Originally published in 1902, this has been updated (or so the description claims), for the 21st century. I picked this up at the recommendation of someone I highly respect, and while this isn’t an easy read (for me), it is short and to the point. It can easily be read in a few hours.
What we think about becomes the reality we experience. Look for the good, the healthy, the prosperity, the beneficial and these are the things you will bring into your life.
The author wrote this book long before science caught up with this concept. The language/voice of this book is a bit obscure, but it is still relevant.
I’ll be adding this to my annual renewal routine for regular rereading.
