Sam’s Review

This is it. The final battle in The Dark Artifices series. A thrilling end to the trilogy that encaptured my mind so many times. What’s the name of the book you ask? Well, none other than Queen of Air and Darkness

If you were bonded to somebody, but you were forbidden to love them because of it, would you do anything to break it? Even if it meant traveling to other dimensions, losing your family, and defying the rules? For Julian and Emma, this question is a reality. And it could affect the ones they love.

An exciting conclusion to the series, I loved how adverse love interests were. From boys with boys, girls with girls, it is truly inspiring. There were several questionable moments, but other than that, it was good.

There were several slow moments where I got bored. Also, the sudden shifts in point of view were slightly confusing, but those are the only things that I found wrong with the series. I’d recommend this to fantasy lovers of teen ages and people who love forbidden romance.
